On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of Prime Cattle.

A small entry was forward but all classes were easily sold, topping at 275.5ppk for a Limousin bull, weighing 601kg from Messrs E & R Brass, Barnskew, realising £1655.76, purchased by Jewitt Meat Company.

More clean cattle and prime bulls are required on a fortnightly basis to fulfil the demand of our regular buyers. Our next sale will be held on Monday 1st July.
