Today we held our fortnightly sale of 454 Store Cattle & Feeding Bulls, this included a prize show and sale for the bullocks and heifers.
Judging was in the capable hands of Mr J Wooley, Church Farm, Sheffield, who awarded Champion honours to Messrs M Ridsdale & Son, Yew Tree Farm, with a superb British Blue heifer, 23-month-old achieving £2640 selling to B & T Kitson, Yarm.
Reserve honours went to R & E Holmes, The Green, for a seventeen-month-old Limousin bullock, which later realised £2380 purchased by Taylors Farm Shop, Latham.
