Store Cattle 030624

On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly Sale of 150 Store Cattle & Feeding Bulls of all classes.

A summertime entry was forward with a hot, spicy trade to match. The sale topped at £1,800 for a twenty-three-month-old Limousin bullock from Mr D Smith, Far Close Farm, selling to Mr W Barker. This consignment of cattle averaged £1,509.17.

Limousin cross heifers from Mr J D Bowman, Croft House, sold to £1,775, bought by Mr R W Dickinson, with this consignment averaging £1,697.50.

Plenty of demand throughout the sale for all types, from young, hard grazing cattle, to strong feeding cattle. Please do not hesitate to enter for our next sale on Monday 17th June, entries close noon Monday 10th June.
