On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of Prime Cattle.

The sale topped at £2268.38/287.5ppk for a Charolais X Limousin bull, weighing 789kg from Messrs Raine, Fog Close, purchased by R Pearson Wholesale Butchers, Bradford.

A 659kg Limousin X bullock achieved 288.5ppk/£1901.22 from Mr D Raine, Old Parks.

More clean cattle and prime bulls are required on a fortnightly basis to fulfil the demand of our regular buyers. Our next sale will be held on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May.
