On Wednesday Penrith & District Farmers Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of 500 Store Lambs.

A better show of store lambs was forward to large ringside of buyers which ensured a strong trade throughout. The sale topped at £118 for a pen of 3 Continental lambs from Messrs Stamper, Long Meadows. This was closely followed at £117 for a pen of 6 Continental lambs from Messrs R & M Hunter, Thorneyscale.
