Evolution Farming Dairy Dispersal - 01.12.23

The sale attracted a busy ringside of buyers from Ayrshire to Wiltshire, achieving a total clearance and a very healthy average of £1153.64, considering this included 27 three quartered cows.

Over quarter of the sale sold in excess of £1500 topping at £2000 on three occasions. Firstly, lot 148 a second calver giving 27L selling to Clotton Hall Farm, Cheshire. Followed by Lot 172 a superb Friesian type second calver giving 29.5L and lot 177 another second calver giving 27.5L purchased by Messrs D & J M Homer, Wiltshire.

Cross Bred Jerseys sold with great ease regularly £1200 plus topping at £1500 with lot 45 a 6th calved cow giving 31L, purchased by Messrs T W J & I W Evans, Denbign.

All in all, a very successful sale with demand being excellent throughout and all classes surpassing their values on regular occasions.
