Store Lambs - 11.10.23
On Wednesday Penrith & District Farmers Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of 1000 Store Lambs.
Trade continues to be buoyant as at previous sales. £120 was achieved for 3 cracking Beltex x lambs from Messrs KD Harryman, Keskadale. Messrs Wood, Brackenbank sold a pen of 19 strong, Texel x lambs realising £110. Cheviot Mule lambs sold to £92.
Mule lambs topped at £81 from Messrs Little, Bank End Mill. Many more lambs could be easily sold.
