On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of Prime Cattle.

A good show of prime bulls was forward, achieving a sale average of 267ppk. The sale topped at £2021.34/285.5ppk for a Limousin cross, weighing 708kg from Messrs Lowis, Waterside House, purchased by Pearson Wholesale Butchers, Bradford.
