On Monday Penrith & District Farmers Mart held their fortnightly sale of prime cattle. This our last prime cattle sale of 2022.

Prime bulls sold to plenty of demand, with Nord Vue Farm selling a twenty-three-month-old Beef Shorthorn, weighing 848kg, for 217.5p/kg (£1844.40), purchased by Jewitt Meat Ltd.

Our next fortnightly sale of prime cattle will be held on Monday 16th January 2023. This day also includes our January Bonanza sale of store cattle of all classes, entries for the store cattle sale close on Monday 9th January.
