In-lamb Breeding Sheep - 02.02.22

On Wednesday, Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held a special sale of in-lamb breeding sheep.

Young sheep seemed to attract a lot of interest with a consignment of 100 first draw Mule Hoggs, scanned in lamb to the Continental from Messrs Barker, Town Head averaging £173.40 topping at £190 ahead, for a pen of 20 purchased by Mr W Armstrong.

The sale topped at £205 ahead for a pair of Zwartble Hoggs scanned in lamb from Messrs J M & M A Dawson, Penrith.
