On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of Prime Cattle.

Prime cattle sold to a sharper trade, with Messrs Raine, Fog Close, selling super fifteen-month-old Limousin cross British Blue bulls to a top of 230.5 p/kg (£1608.89), selling to Mr T Fell.

Clean heifers sold to a top of 244.5p/kg (£1506.12) from Mr D Raine, Old Parks, bought by Cocklakes Farm Shop.

More prime cattle and young bulls are required for our next sale on Monday 16th August.
