On Friday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their sale of 31 Dairy Cattle.
A very mixed offering of Dairy Cattle was forward, with quality in short supply. Heifers topped at £1850 from Messrs G & E A Harrison, Mount Cliffton selling to Messrs A & W Johnston, Whitefold. Closely followed at £1800 for a second calved cow giving 35L, from the same home, also purchased by Messrs A & W Johnston.
Fleckvieh X British Friesian heifers topped at £1700 from Messrs E A & A Dodd, Roanstrees selling to Mr I Graninger, Kiln Close.
