On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of Prime Cattle.

Prime cattle sold to a top of £1687.80 (242ppk) for a cracking red Limousin bullock, weighing 696kg from Mr D Raine, Old Parks, purchased by Caterite Food Services.

Clean heifers topped at 228.5ppk/£1494.39 for a Limousin from the same home.

More prime cattle and young bulls are required for our next sale on Monday 30th August.
