Store Cattle 310723
On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of 262 Store Cattle.
All classes were well bid for, with a strong ringside of buyers present.
Topping the sale at £1675 was a lovely twenty-seven-month-old Limousin heifer from Messrs AJ Glendinning, Dacre Banks. This same home also sold another at £1635.
Bullocks topped at £1465 for a Limousin cross from Messrs EA & W Strong, Ploveriggs. Messrs Winter Bros, Clickham Farm, sold a fabulous run of stores with a fantastic pen of five Black & White bullocks selling for £1215. Another highlight from this run was a pen of four Aberdeen Angus bullocks realising £1305.
