On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of Prime Cattle.

A shortage of prime cattle was forward with demand strong. The sale topped at £1676.56/273.5ppk for a none-farm assured Beef Shorthorn heifer from Messrs JE Bellas & son, Croft Ends Farm.
