On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of Prime Cattle.
A lovely Limousin heifer, weighing 644kg, from Mr D Raine, Old Parks, achieved a top of £1542.38 purchased by Cocklakes Farm Shop, Penruddock.
Young prime bulls with meat are in short supply at the moment, with numbers required on a fortnightly basis. Our next sale will be held on Monday 26th April.
