On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of Prime Cattle.

A small show of prime cattle was forward, topping at 229.5ppk for a handy-weight Limousin heifer realising £1425.20, purchased by Cocklakes Farm Shop, Penruddock.
