On Wednesday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their opening 2021 sale of 300 Store Hoggs.
A small show was forward to plenty of prospective customers, especially after the bonanza prime hogg sale earlier in the day.
The sale topped at £104 a head for a pen of Suffolk X Hoggs from Messrs JR Jackson, Scales Hall, selling to Mr J Tucker. This run averaged £91.27.
