On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of 100 Store Cattle of all classes.
A sharp trade was witnessed across the board topping at £1155 for a British Blue X Heifer 28mths from Mr G I Birkett, Lonscale selling to Mr W Barker.
14month old Limousin X Bullocks from Messrs G R Wharton and Sons, Keisley sold to £1145.
Our opening sale of store cattle will be held on Monday 4th January entries close noon Tuesday 29th December.
