On Saturday 6th December Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held an on-farm sale on behalf of Messrs Robinson & Son, Skygarth, Temple Sowerby, Penrith. A wet day didn’t put off the crowds with all locals and travelled buyers in attendance, all lots were turned out in great order and this reflected in the prices. Topping at £21,000 was a genuine and clean Massey Ferguson 6480 Dynashift, 54 reg. with 6500hrs on the clock. Several tidy pieces of machinery achieved some fantastic returns, topping at £6,000 for a Kuhn HR 3004 power harrow and closely followed at £5,200 for a Teagle Tomahawk 808 bedder, all purchased by local farmers.
